When I observe the sleek, modernistic designs that occur in nature I cannot help but be inspired - this is the foundation of my passion. I aim to create juxtaposition by capturing the light and ethereal qualities of natural creation while crafting pieces with substance and permanence. This aesthetic is achieved by reflecting the interplay of natural rhythm and sensual forms inherent in life within my sculpture.

I am influenced by the works of modern architecture and their ability to complement the natural with the engineered seamlessly through design. Early cultures all strived to distill the essence of the world around them and express that energy in three dimensional forms. Inspired by these, I strive to capture the spirit of my subject and to showcase my inspiration, giving it voice with beauty and grace.
